Quest For Hope

Throughout the Bible, God teaches us that if we just think like a child, we'll understand. Why is that? Because a child is constantly in a learning mode and always evaluating. As we get older we develop biases that immediately lead us to conclusions without the process of evaluating.  We, as older and "set in our way" people, tend to skip the whole evaluating process. If we'll only take the time to truly evaluate for ourselves and not letting all that we have learned from the world bias our thoughts, we can then discover the truth.

For example, in every public school in the US we're taught about evolution. So as we get older we begin to think, "this God thing is a hoax, because we all evolved right?" Well, in my own journey of discovery I began to let go of all the preconceived ideas that have been engrained in me all these years and took a look at the same old questions, but this time as a "child".  And surprise! Guess what?  I have found that there is absolutely no proof that we evolved.  In fact there is more proof that we were placed here in the blink of an eye. "No!!!!", I'm sure your saying in your mind right now. That can't be true! Everyone teaches it, every school does. On The Discover Channel, the theory of evolution presented in every show they have, so its just got be true. Right? Wrong! Darwin, who popularized the theory of evolution in his book "The Origin of Life", studied the evidence for years and finally wrote in his book that the fact that the "explosion of life" in the fossil record is a inexplicable mystery that he can just not explain and that if it cannot be explained, then it would invalidate his theory. Well guess what? Over a hundred years later and no one has been able to explain it, so you can draw your own conclusion!
